Aphrodite is the ECO-MAR managing principal and director of research and planning.
She is a B.Arch graduate of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture with more than 27 years of professional experience encompassing planning, research, and project management.
She is passionate about developing sustainable, equitable, and health-promoting communities and urban environments that provide access to dynamic cultural, educational, and economic opportunities.
Aphrodite has worked with a variety of organizations including: the American Institute of Architects, the National Academies of Sciences Federal Facilities Council, the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, Hanley Wood University, and a number of firms in the AEC industry.
She serves as a subject matter expert for AEC educational / certification programs and is an award-winning writer whose work has been featured in numerous publications including: Architect, Medical Construction + Design, Contract magazine, and numerous other industry publications. In addition, she published the book, Environmental Sustainability: Collaboration and Marketing Best Practices in the Building Industry.
